Data protection

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. The protection of your data is of the utmost importance to us. With the following information on data protection, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which and the extent to which we collect and process your personal data when you use our websites and how we protect your privacy when you provide us with your data.

Responsibility
Möhlenhoff GmbH (Museumstr. 54a, 38229 Salzgitter, phone: 0 53 41 / 8475-0, fax: 0 53 41 / 8475-999, e-mail: kontakt@moehlenhoff.de) is the operator of this website and, as the controller within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR, is responsible for compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.

The personal data of our users are stored and processed by us in compliance with the relevant regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the “Act on Data Protection and Privacy in Telecommunications and Digital Services (TDDDG)” in the respective current versions. All personal data is only collected for specified, clear and legitimate purposes and is not stored for longer than necessary.

Personal data
Personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, date of birth and contact details).

Other data collection
We collect, store and process your personal data (e.g. first name, surname, address, email address, telephone number, fax) if a business relationship exists or is to be established, e.g. as part of a subscription or an order, as well as when the content of the business relationship is being developed or changed. We also use your personal data if you have provided it to us for registration on our website and have consented to the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, we collect, store and process your personal data if you contact us via the contact form or by sending us an e-mail or by telephone or fax, insofar as this is necessary for processing your inquiries and correspondence. The personal data collected by us will be deleted immediately as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose, unless there are statutory retention periods.

Contact form
If you use our contact form to send us an inquiry, the information you provide and the contact details you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for any follow-up questions. The data will not be passed on without your consent.

The legal basis for the data processing of the data provided in the contact form is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you have given by ticking the box in the contact form. You can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons to the above address or electronically (e.g. by e-mail). The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data provided in the contact form will be stored by us until you request its deletion, until receipt of your revocation or after the purpose of data storage no longer applies (e.g. after processing of the inquiry has been completed). This does not affect the statutory provisions, in particular the retention periods.

Disclosure of data
We use your personal data within Möhlenhoff GmbH and our affiliated companies. These companies and our external service providers who carry out data processing on our behalf are contractually obliged within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR to treat personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations. Insofar as these companies come into contact with your personal data, we have taken legal, technical and organizational measures and carried out regular checks to ensure that they comply with the provisions of data protection laws.

If you find links from other controllers on our website (e.g. Google Maps and to our social media presences on Linkedin, Xing and Instagram) and click on the link, you are using the website directly from the respective controller, so our data protection provisions do not apply to this website.

In principle, we do not transfer your personal data to a third country or to an international organization outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If we do transfer data in individual cases, this will only take place to third countries for which an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission or for which the appropriate level of data protection has been ensured by suitable or appropriate guarantees (e.g. Binding Corporate Rules or EU standard contractual clauses).

We reserve the right to transfer your personal data to authorities entitled to receive information if we are obliged to do so by law or by court order. Your personal data will not be passed on to other third parties.

Integration of external content on our website
External content is integrated on our website via iFrame. The external content is the presentation of our applicant portal. The content of our applicant portal is integrated and technically provided on our behalf by a software service provider. The security and protection of your personal data is always guaranteed by suitable security measures and the conclusion of an order processing contract with our service provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR as part of the integration of external content.

Further information on data protection regarding the use of our applicant portal can be found in the corresponding data protection declaration and the data protection information.
